Polarized World: How Other Countries Feel About The Trump Presidency

As President Trump embarks on his second term, the American public is divided on what the future holds. Some see it as a new golden age, while others fear a potential catastrophe. This polarization of opinions extends globally, reflecting the significant impact the U.S. has on the world stage.

The data, gathered from a survey of 28,549 people by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) across 24 countries, reveals stark differences in perception. For example, India sees Trump’s presidency as overwhelmingly positive, with 84% of respondents expressing this view.

Conversely, South Korea has a much more negative outlook, with only 11% believing Trump will benefit their country. Interestingly, a significant portion of Koreans (67%) are unsure of the impact he will have.
