Offered by First Electronic Bank and managed by Imprint, this credit card lets you earn points for your everyday purchases outside of the Fetch platform.

If you’re unfamiliar with Fetch, it’s not about dogs but rather about earning rewards by submitting photos of your receipts and engaging in in-app activities. By analyzing your receipts, the company gains insights into consumer spending patterns at various brands, retailers, and eateries.

The waitlist is anticipated to open up in fall 2025, as confirmed by Rachel Ehrlich, the general manager at Fetch Rewards. Once available, the Fetch credit card could be an attractive option for stacking rewards if you’re already using the app.

Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming card:

Key Features

Multiple Ways to Earn Points

The Fetch card will provide numerous opportunities to accumulate points, both as a cardholder and as a Fetch platform user.

The card will offer:

  • 10 points per $1 on retail and grocery purchases.

  • 5 points per $1 on all other purchases.

  • “Spin and Win” bonus points with each card transaction (up to 1,200 bonus points per transaction).

  • Access to American Express network benefits such as AmEx Offers, featuring discounts and bonus rewards at select merchants. (Enrollment required.)

  • Exclusive cardholder perks that vary with specific brands or merchants.

As a Fetch user, the app or browser will continue to provide the following rewards:

  • Points for submitting photos of your receipts.

  • “Spin and Win” bonus points within the app.

  • Point bonuses for completing specific tasks like shopping online or in-store, or playing games and apps for points.

  • Additional points for spending in promotional categories that change monthly.

Redemption options and point values earned will be consistent with those in the app or browser extension and will vary depending on your choice. Typically, 1,000 Fetch points will equate to $1 in gift cards. With the Fetch American Express Card, points are expected to be redeemable for gift cards, charitable donations, sweepstakes entries, and Fetch merchandise.

Eligibility Requires a Minimum 620 Credit Score

What sets this card apart as a rewards credit card is its accessibility to individuals with less-than-perfect credit. Once the card is launched, you can qualify with a credit score of 620 or higher, as per Ehrlich, and determine your approval odds without affecting your credit score. A standard hard inquiry will only be triggered when you officially apply for the card, potentially causing a temporary drop in your credit score.

Comparison with Other Cards

Securing rewards credit cards can be challenging if you have less-than-perfect credit. Therefore, the Fetch credit card stands out in this regard and, when used responsibly, it could help improve your creditworthiness. However, bear in mind that the card comes with a potentially high APR — currently reaching up to almost 34% — so it’s crucial to pay off your balance in full each month to avoid hefty interest charges that could diminish the value of your rewards.

Moreover, in terms of value, points in the Fetch system may not be very valuable. In the example provided for gift cards, each point would only be worth 0.001 cent — significantly lower than the industry standard of one cent per point. Nevertheless, if you can accumulate a substantial number of points, it could still be worthwhile. The card’s 10x rate on retail and grocery purchases, combined with points earned from submitting receipts via Fetch, might assist you in this regard. Just note that, as of now, cash back is not an available redemption option.

Additionally, it’s important to be aware that the Fetch credit card won’t feature a 0% introductory APR offer or a standard welcome bonus, as typically found with general-purpose rewards cards — although unique welcome bonuses will be offered to Fetch users within the app, as per Ehrlich.
