The Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, offers travelers a luxurious oceanfront retreat with easy access to popular attractions. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the hotel is perfect for those looking for a peaceful beach vacation at a high-end property.

The hotel is conveniently located near Old San Juan, allowing guests to explore historic sites like Castillo San Cristobal and Castillo San Felipe del Morro. Additionally, the hotel is a short Uber ride away from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, making it a great choice for those attending events like Bad Bunny’s music residency.

Room rates at the Caribe Hilton can vary, with standard rooms typically costing under $300 per night or 68,000 to 75,000 Hilton Honors points. During peak periods, prices can exceed $1,000 per night, so flexibility with travel dates is key to securing the best deal.

During my stay at the Caribe Hilton in April 2025, I had the opportunity to experience the hotel’s amenities and services. While the hotel covered my expenses, the opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own and not influenced by the property.

The hotel’s design reflects a modern, international style with playful elements that add character to the property. From the saucer-shaped roof to the outdoor garden with a pond and gazebo, the hotel offers a relaxing atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

Rooms at the Caribe Hilton are split into three wings: the Beach Wing, the Garden Wing, and the Wave Wing. Each wing offers unique views and amenities, with options for ocean views and easy beach access. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like wireless charging pads and a variety of charging ports.

Dining options at the hotel are diverse, with restaurants serving Italian, Puerto Rican, and steakhouse cuisine. Guests can also enjoy a variety of cocktails at the lobby bar, Caribar, which offers a relaxing outdoor terrace.

The hotel’s amenities include multiple pools, beach access, tennis courts, a spa, and a fitness center with ocean views. Guests can also take advantage of the hotel’s 24-hour laundry room and on-site dining options, including a Starbucks and an ice cream shop.

To get to the Caribe Hilton, most travelers will fly into Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) and can take a short Uber ride to the hotel. Self-parking and valet parking options are available for guests with vehicles.

Overall, the Caribe Hilton offers a luxurious and relaxing experience for travelers seeking a beachfront retreat in San Juan. With its convenient location, upscale amenities, and variety of dining options, the hotel is a great choice for a memorable vacation in Puerto Rico.
