Traveling Abroad? Get Free Phone Data With These Cards

PLEASE NOTE: SOME CARD INFO MAY BE OUTDATED

This page contains information about certain cards that are currently unavailable on BW. The information has been compiled by BW and has not been provided or reviewed by the card issuer.

While relying on Wi-Fi signals when traveling abroad is always an option, they never seem to be available when you need them. Adding international data to your phone plan can be expensive. Instead, using an eSIM—an electronic SIM card that can be activated digitally on most phones—can be a more cost-effective solution.

With the right credit card, you may even get free international data via a GigSky eSIM. Currently, Visa Infinite or Visa Signature cardholders can enjoy free international data through an offer that runs until Nov. 15, 2027.

This eSIM provides international data coverage in over 175 countries. Eligible Visa cardholders have the option to choose a free package for 15 days or a discounted offer. This could potentially save frequent international travelers a significant amount of money or help them avoid expensive roaming fees.

You can download the eSIM and add it to your phone. Most phones produced in the past decade are compatible with an eSIM, such as iPhone XS/XR or newer models, as well as select Android, Galaxy, or Pixel devices. You can check the list of eligible devices on the GigSky website.

sentence to make it more concise:

“Parents should monitor their children’s online activity to ensure their safety.”

“Parents should supervise their children online for safety.”
