Ripple Lawsuit News:

There is a significant amount of speculation in the cryptocurrency community regarding XRP at the moment. Several XRP spot ETF applications are pending approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), with companies like Bitwise, Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, and 21Shares submitting their applications. Key decision dates are approaching.

June 17, 2025, is a crucial date as the SEC is expected to decide on Franklin Templeton’s spot XRP ETF application. Other deadlines include Grayscale on May 21, 2025, and Bitwise on May 25, 2025. The cryptocurrency community is closely monitoring these dates as approval could have a significant impact on XRP’s price and popularity.

Meanwhile, rumors suggest that the SEC and Ripple may have reached a settlement in their legal dispute, awaiting the judge’s approval. However, former SEC attorney Marc Fagel clarified that the judge rejected the request from both parties.

It’s not actually settled. The parties may have entered an agreement, but implementing the settlement requires court action. And the court indicated it would not simply do what the parties asked without further briefing.

According to Fagel, while there may be an agreement between the parties, it is not official yet. The court is seeking further explanation before making a decision. In summary, both the XRP ETF decisions and the Ripple lawsuit situation remain uncertain, requiring the crypto community to stay updated for official developments in the upcoming weeks.
