Alaska Airlines recently revealed details about its upcoming Alaska Airlines Premium Credit Card, scheduled to launch in the summer of 2025. The new card will offer various benefits to cardholders, including earning 3x miles on eligible foreign purchases and dining, with no overlap with the existing Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® credit card bonus categories. The annual fee for the Premium card will be $395, as confirmed by the airline.

Additional perks of the Premium card will include new Companion Fare certificates, waived award ticket fees, access to Alaska Lounge passes, Wi-Fi vouchers, and accelerated paths to elite status within Alaska Airlines’ loyalty program.

While some details about the Premium card are still unknown, such as the sign-up bonus and Companion Fare eligibility requirements, Alaska Airlines has already announced a promotion for new Premium cardholders. By signing up for the card’s early access list before December 31, 2024, individuals can earn 500 miles. Upon approval for the Premium card, an additional 5,000 miles will be awarded. It is important to apply for the card using the exclusive link provided via email to qualify for this offer.

In addition to the promotional offer, new cardholders can also benefit from the card’s sign-up bonus, details of which are currently undisclosed. This announcement comes amidst significant changes for Alaska Airlines, including the acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines and upcoming enhancements to the Mileage Plus loyalty program.
