Massie And Lee Introduce Bills To “End The Fed”

Rep. Thomas Massie has reintroduced legislation to abolish the Federal Reserve, with ten other members of the House joining as original sponsors of the bill. Senator Mike Lee also introduced a corresponding bill in the Senate. This move comes at a time when there is greater political scrutiny on the Federal Reserve and questions about America’s monetary future. Donald Trump has pledged to audit the gold holdings of Fort Knox and has embraced a pro-cryptocurrency agenda. Elon Musk has also taken public positions against the central bank, discussing the possibility of auditing the Fed and flirting with the idea of its abolishment. While Fed abolition remains a minority view within the Republican Party, these recent moves indicate a shift in the Overton Window on the topic in recent years, influenced by Ron Paul’s impact on American politics. For more on why it is time to End the Fed, watch the documentary “Playing With Fire: Money, Banking, and the Federal Reserve.”
