Pharos establishes RealFi Alliance to advance institutional RWA activity onchain

Pharos Network, a leading financial Layer 1 blockchain, has recently unveiled the formation of the RealFi Alliance, a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing standardization and coordination within the realm of institutional real-world asset (RWA) activity onchain. This announcement was shared with Finbold on February 23.

The RealFi Alliance brings together key players including asset issuers, financial infrastructure providers, and onchain builders to propel the RWA market beyond isolated pilot programs towards a more scalable and operational framework. The founding members of this alliance consist of prominent names such as Chainlink, Asseto Finance, Ember, Faroo, LayerZero, R25, Re7 Labs, TopNod, and Centrifuge.

Coordinating infrastructure, liquidity, and compliance

Pharos Network emphasized that the RealFi Alliance is structured to tackle challenges such as fragmented liquidity, inconsistent infrastructure standards, and regulatory silos. Rather than viewing RWAs as static tokenized assets, the initiative positions RealFi as an infrastructure layer where assets remain dynamic and interoperable for institutional use cases.

The alliance is founded on four core pillars. These pillars include enabling real-world assets to be seamlessly brought onchain in secure and interoperable formats, aligning infrastructure and compliance standards utilizing Pharos’ deep-parallel execution and built-in compliance modules, and creating liquidity and utility pathways such as staking, yield strategies, and application integration.

Within this framework, Ember and Re7 Labs are collaborating to integrate institutional-grade risk management and vault curation directly into the asset lifecycle. The alliance also aims to establish clearer transparency and benchmarking standards for risk and yield sources to facilitate the involvement of institutional capital.

“The core challenge facing onchain finance today is not a lack of assets, but the absence of a unified environment where those assets can function at scale,” expressed Wish Wu, Co-Founder & CEO of Pharos Network. “The RealFi Alliance represents our commitment to building that environment, aligning industry leaders like Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle platform, with specialized asset operators to ensure that real value moves onchain with institutional-grade reliability.”

Pharos further stated that the initiative is designed to guarantee that its forthcoming mainnet launches with integrated liquidity and compliance standards already in place. The RealFi Alliance is poised to expand in the future, with prospective members selected based on asset quality, technical readiness, and ecosystem alignment.
