Spencer Pratt Within Single-Digit Territory Of Far-Left L.A. Mayor Karen Bass

A recent public opinion survey conducted by Emerson College Polling reveals that incumbent Mayor Karen Bass maintains her lead in the Los Angeles mayoral race, with challenger Spencer Pratt gaining momentum. This surge in popularity for Pratt has reportedly raised concerns within the Democratic Party.

According to Spectrum News 1 SoCal, the poll shows Bass at 30%, Pratt at 22% (showing growth), and Socialist Councilmember Nithya Raman at 19%. The survey, conducted on May 9 and 10, followed the mayoral debate where Pratt was perceived as the clear winner by 88% of respondents, as per an NBC Los Angeles poll.

Pratt’s rise in popularity can be attributed to his social media team’s successful online presence, generating significant engagement and viewership. His messaging, which highlights the failures of Bass’s progressive policies leading to increased crime and chaos in Los Angeles, has resonated with voters.

Despite attempts to undermine Pratt’s campaign, such as a TMZ article questioning his living situation post-fire, these efforts have backfired, further boosting Pratt’s image. Political commentators speculate that Raman may exit the race, potentially benefiting Bass unless Pratt can keep her below 50% of the vote.

The success of Pratt’s campaign strategy serves as a blueprint for state-level Republicans nationwide, emphasizing the detrimental impact of progressive policies on cities. Communicating this truth to voters has proven effective in garnering support for Pratt and highlighting the need for change in leadership.
