The West Is Winning The Information War While Russia Prevails On The Battlefield

Former CIA officer Larry Johnson recently wrote about the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine in 2026. He stumbled upon some surprising information from an AI search engine called KIMI, which claimed that Ukraine had actually recaptured more territory than Russia during the first half of the year. This contradicts the prevailing narrative that Russia is winning on the battlefield.

According to Johnson, the Western propaganda machine is influencing even Chinese coders, who created the AI that supports Ukraine’s narrative. However, Johnson presents a different perspective on the situation in 2026 based on actual reports. He highlights Russia’s successful liberation of various settlements throughout the year, particularly in regions like Kharkiv and the Donetsk People’s Republic.

He emphasizes Russia’s strategic advancements in key areas and the challenges faced by Ukraine, such as the loss of maritime and trade operations from Odessa and Nikolaev. This has severely impacted Ukraine’s ability to export goods and sustain its economy. Additionally, Russian missile and drone attacks have targeted Ukrainian infrastructure, causing significant damage.

Despite the Western portrayal of Ukraine’s imminent victory, Johnson argues that the ground reality tells a different, more somber story – Ukraine is actually losing the war. The destruction of vital resources and ongoing military pressure have put Ukraine in a precarious position.

Overall, Johnson’s analysis provides a counter-narrative to the prevailing Western propaganda, shedding light on the complex and challenging dynamics of the conflict in Ukraine.
