LEGO has evolved beyond its origins as a children’s brand and is now highly sought after by collectors. In 2023, the company’s revenue reached $10 billion, surpassing competitors like Mattel and Hasbro.

This infographic, created by Bruno Venditti from Visual Capitalist, showcases the most valuable LEGO sets available today, ranging from retail to special collector editions.

The list, sourced from BrickEconomy as of October 2024, provides estimated values that may fluctuate based on demand.

$17K Spider-Man

At the top of the list is the rare Spider-Man minifigure, distributed at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con as prizes for lucky winners. With only 350 units in existence, its current value exceeds $17,000.

Another standout is a custom LEGO model of the house belonging to LEGO founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen, with just 32 hand-numbered copies produced in 2009. Each piece is now valued at nearly $10,000.

Ranked third on the list is the UNICEF van from 1985, created in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund. This set includes a blue UNICEF truck and a UNICEF worker minifigure, now valued at $10,500.

For those seeking a more budget-friendly option, the LEGO 375-2 Castle, released in 1978, is priced around $8,700. Known as the “Yellow Castle,” this 767-piece set featured 14 minifigures and was exclusively sold in Europe, the UK, Australia, and Canada.
