Missile Causes ‘Extensive’ Damage To Israeli Hospital – IDF Bombs Inactive Iranian Reactor

Israel’s conflict with Iran rages on as both sides continue to inflict damage from above. The largest hospital in southern Israel reportedly suffered extensive damage from an Iranian missile strike, while the Israeli Air Force bombed Iran’s Arak heavy water reactor, despite it being modified to prevent weapons-grade plutonium production. Recent developments include Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz escalating strikes on government targets in Tehran, warnings from Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov about US intervention, and President Trump holding off on approving a Pentagon plan for attacking Iran. Meanwhile, the foreign ministers of Iran, the UK, France, and Germany are set to discuss the nuclear impasse in Geneva. Amidst the conflict, Iran’s missile barrages have increased, causing injuries and damage in Israel’s cities. The hospital in Beersheba was hit, but no fatalities were reported due to an evacuation. The Iranian attacks also caused major damage in Ramat Gan. On the other side, Israeli airstrikes targeted Iran’s facilities, including the Arak reactor and a facility in Natanz. The attack on Arak highlights the JCPOA nuclear deal, which Iran was complying with before the US withdrawal in 2018. Israel’s actions draw attention to the fact that the original nuclear deal was working, and its abandonment served as a false pretext for war. Israel warned Iranians to evacuate from the reactor area before striking, despite reports of internet blackout in Iran. The recent power outage has been attributed to the Iranian government, with the New York Times suggesting that the decision may have been influenced by concerns over potential cyberattacks from Israel. Israel’s US ambassador hinted at upcoming surprises that would overshadow their recent operation in Lebanon, raising tensions in the region. Stay tuned for updates on this developing situation.
