Secret Service Agent Assigned To Jill Biden Shoots Himself In The Leg At Philadelphia Airport

It seems like incompetence is spreading like wildfire…

A Secret Service agent responsible for safeguarding Jill Biden somehow managed to pose the biggest threat to himself, accidentally shooting himself in the leg at Philadelphia International Airport last week, as reported by Reuters.

Fortunately, Biden was not in the vicinity, possibly because the universe decided that dealing with one crisis at a time was sufficient.

According to the report, the incident, euphemistically termed a “negligent discharge” (bureaucratic jargon for oh sh*t), occurred in an unmarked vehicle just before 9 a.m. Other officers quickly intervened, and the agent was transported to the hospital in stable condition—although his wounded pride was not officially mentioned, it was heavily implied.

“The Secret Service’s Office of Professional Responsibility will be investigating the details and circumstances of this incident,” stated Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring, as reported by Daily Mail. He added, “We appreciate the assistance provided by our law enforcement and public safety partners.”

Police were on high alert around a black Chevy Suburban outside Terminal C at Philadelphia International Airport, leading to ongoing security disruptions with certain checkpoints closed and passengers redirected through alternate terminals.

The silver lining: airport operations continued without major hiccups. By that, we mean travelers likely faced lengthy security lines due to a shortage of TSA agents.

Because nothing screams “government control” in an airport these days like a trained professional accidentally firing his weapon while everyone else goes about their business.
